Freie Universität Berlin

Freie Universität Berlin was established in 1984 and is one of Germany’s leading research institutions and is part of the federal and state Excellence Initiative. It consists of 15 departments and central institutes offering over 150 degree programs across a wide range of subjects. Of the about 31,500 students, 20% are from abroad which is facilitated by over 100 international partnership.
