By agreement, specific team members and participants of the Inter-University Centre  draw up expert's opinions and reports on issues of foreign and comparative law on behalf of public authorities, courts of law, companies, associations, lawyers etc. Furthermore, they undertake commissions and project assignments on specific issues of the legal development in the new EU Member States, the candidate countries and selected countries in transition. 

The team members and partners of the Inter-University Centre also advise the organisations responsible for implementing law and justice reform projects in countries in transition. The consulting services offered cover all phases of development co-operation projects from conception through implementation to closeout and evaluation. In particular, they include:

• Writing project tender proposals;
• Selecting suitable experts for short-term or long-term foreign assignments;
• Providing implementation organisations with support in project reporting;
• Short-term or medium-term foreign assignments for Centre staff as experts or trainers;
• Drawing up project progress and evaluation reports. 

The team members and partners of the Inter-University Centre can rely on their long-year professional experience, a well-developed network with and within the countries in transition of Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia, relevant language skills and project experience.
